KONCEPT PIXEL PROJEKTA
PIXEL predlaže novi konceptualni i tehnološki razvoj utemeljen na razmjeni informacija i IoT-u (internetu stvari) kako bi se postigli ciljevi i ambicije.
Stupovi djelovanja:
PIXEL CONCEPT
PIXEL proposes a new conceptual and technology development relying on information sharing and IoT to achieve those objectives and ambitions.
Pillars established:
Enhancing the acquisition, processing and communication of operational data to be potentially gathered and leveraged for optimizing multi-modal-ports activities. Need of decreasing ports' environmental impacts. Enabling small and medium size ports to contend with the larger ones achieving flexible operations, better capacity management and empowering port-city relation by adequate technology enablers. Innovation concept: bringing every port a step closer to the Port of the Future.
Main goals:
"PIXEL leverages an IoT based communication infrastructure to voluntarily exchange data among ports and stakeholders to achieve an efficient use of resources in ports".
- Close the gap between small and large ports by providing an easy-to-use open source smart solution for operational data interchange.
- Migrate from document-centric management systems to data-centric interoperable systems.
- Reduce environmental impact in Port Cities and surrounding areas by improving the knowledge and control of the port operations, optimizing processes and improving management.
- Focused on small-medium ports innovation
Improve the energy efficiency of the ports, promote the use of clean energies, improve logistics processes, increase the environmental awareness of all the stakeholders involved and, in general, contribute to reduce the carbon footprint and the environmental impact of the ports and port-related activities.
